Why I joined Stonewall Kickball DC: I have lived in the DC metro area my entire life, but never truly got to experience DC city life at its best until I decided to join kickball.  Even better — I joined my first season not knowing anyone in the league.   Now a few short years later, I have a sense of community in the city and have met some of my closest friends through this league — and of course I never have a boring weekend.  In this time I’ve also gone from a player, to coach, to captain, and now to serving on the board.  My hope is to give back to the chapter that has given me so much in life in so little time!
