Why I joined Stonewall Kickball DC: I knew of SKDC through a friend that has played for several years, and upon my move to DC I knew it would be a great spot to find community and get a splash of exercise in. Very quickly, SKDC has become a cornerstone of my DC experience. It has given me found family, a place of belonging, deep involvement in DC, and a lot of laughs. SKDC is more than simply a weekly game, it has had an immeasurable impact on its members as it gives us a place to thrive.
