Why I joined Stonewall Kickball: I was recruited by a friend and mentor in my college fraternity. I was still in school at the time and was looking for a queer community outside of the bubble of Foggy Bottom. It’s been that and so much more. Stonewall defines my decade plus of living here in the district and one of the most significant chapters in my life.
