Why I joined Stonewall Kickball DC: A very close friend of mine passed away in 2011. A year and half later, I realized I’d become a bit of a hermit and needed to rejoin society. In 2012, I met Christian Millett who invited me to join the league after learning of my desire to rebuild my support network. I’m so grateful for this space that’s allowed me to heal and make lifelong friends and chosen family!
