Anti-Harassment Policy

The term “harassment” refers to written, graphic, verbal, or physical conduct that has the purpose or effect of creating an unduly intimidating environment which is sufficiently severe, pervasive, or persistent such that it interferes significantly with another individual’s ability to engage with or function within their team and/or the League. The conduct alleged to constitute harassment under this Policy will be evaluated from the perspective of a reasonable person similarly situated to the complainant and considering all of the facts and circumstances. Harassment is distinguished from behavior simply deemed unpleasant or disconcerting. Any member of the League who believes they have been harassed by another member of the League in violation of this Policy should contact their Conference Lead or the Director of Diversity, Equity + Inclusion. No participant or spectator will be adversely affected in terms of their association with our League as a result of bringing forward complaints of harassment. All complaints of harassment will be handled in as discreet and confidential a manner as is possible under the circumstances.
